~Day 6~ Valentine’s Day is for LOVERS! by Dr. Vicky Thomas

So here we are, Valentines Day 2011.  And it’s become about the children, the BFF’s, the boss, the kids at school.  IT’S SUPPOSED TO BE FOR LOVERS!  Remember, the commercialism of holidays has taken the importance out of the holiday.  Now of course, Valentines Day is not a religious holiday, but consumers are pushed to buy crap almost as much as at Christmas.

So my point is this.  Give the others a Valentine, if you must (sucker!) but give the most to your lover.  My love and I stay home.  I make some of his favorites for dinner.  He gets me something…Victoria’s Secret gift card, chocolates, something, and we are together. In mind, body, and spirit.

Today show your love how much you love him/her!  Be romantic.
